No Warranties
iPodLinux comes with ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY, as noted in the GNU General Public License above. Messing with your iPod could be dangerous to its health, it may even void your waranty. We make no guarantees or warranties about the fitness for any purpose of the provided software. If it breaks you get to keep your brick.
Proprietary Code
The iPodLinux Project contains no intellectual property whatsoever. Hardware support and open architecture specifications have been developed through reverse-engineering of original proprietary software, but such efforts maintain strict seperation from any distributed works. It is believed that the project's efforts qualify under "fair-use" doctrine due to the project's primary goals of interoperability with and expansion of existing hardware.
