macpod's Mac Installer

Jeffrey Nelson (macpod) is developing a new version of a Mac installer. You can find it here:

Important note: The latest release (0.4b from May 24, 2006) has caused reprodicible freezes on a Mac OS X Intel system in one reported case (by Tempel). For others, it seems to have worked fine, though. Therefore, be careful using this tool. Make sure you do have a backup of your important Mac files before using that version of the installer until the problem is understood and fixed with a new version.
